2024 Summer Mandarin Enhancement Class

  1. Introduction：By opening up enhancement class to provide diverse Mandarin classes for international students in NTOU. Allowing the students to have more opportunities to practice Mandarin. Students will receive a certificate of participation upon completing the course.
  2. Teacher：Debbie, Bi-Shia Huang (Technician-level Adjunct Lecturer of CLC).
  3. Tuition Fee：Free.
  4. Registration：
    1. Registration Period：From now on to 2024/6/20. (15 students at most).
    2. Admission List：2024/6/21 announced on the website of Mandarin Learning and Education Center.
    3. Target：International Students in NTOU.
    4. Priority Admission：
      1. Students who are preparing for the TOCFL Band A.
      2. Student who have taken 2024 Spring Semester Enhancement Class.
      3. Students who have taken or are now in the class “Chinese Language for International Student I or II”.
      4. Students who have not enroll in the enhancement class in 2023 summer vacation.
      5. Students whose Mandarin level are still in the Novice level (equally CEFR A1).

  5. Class Information：
    1. Class Period：2024/7/10-2024/8/12, 2:00~6:00 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
    2. Location：Classroom 412, 4th floor, College of Life Sciences (CLS 412).
    3. Learning Hours：60hours in total (12 hours/week).
    4. Perfect Attendance Reward: Students who attend all 15 classes without being late, leaving early, or being absent will receive a bonus of NTD 300 voucher.
    5. Study Incentive: Students who have participated in the 2024 Spring Semester Enhancement Class and attended at least 11 classes will receive a study incentive bonus of NTD 500 voucher, regardless of perfect attendance. They will still be eligible for the perfect attendance bonus.
    6. Certificate Achievement Reward: Students who register for and pass the TOCFL within three months after the course ends will receive a certificate achievement bonus of NTD 800 voucher.
