Course Period: 17th June 2024 – 8th August 2024, 8 Weeks

        *No class during public holiday

Eligibility for Registration: 1. Beginner or Basic of Chinese language learner

     2. Students from sister universities of NTOU have priority.

Course Fee: The tuition fee is USD1,000  per person. *Textbook excluded.

Introduction to Chinese Culture

(1 hr )(13:10~14:00)

  • The tentative schedule is as outlined above. The actual courses will be flexibly adjusted based on the opinions of the instructors.
  • General Skill Training Courses: These courses use engaging teaching methods to help students build proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing Mandarin.
  • Introduction to Chinese Culture: These courses explore Chinese customs, traditions, and festivals.
  • Outdoor Activities: Participants can look forward to exciting outdoor adventures and cultural tours, including canoeing and trips to Jiufen, Yehliu, and Heping Island.
  • Living expenses: Approximately USD 70 per week. (This is not included in the course fee; it is only a suggested amount.)
  • Accommodation fee: The campus dormitory is free of charge.
  • A certificate will be granted only if the total learning hours exceed 75%.
