Course Introduction: Chinese for Science and Technology

This "Chinese for Science and Technology" course is designed to integrate Mandarin learning with contemporary scientific topics.
The curriculum covers a wide range of content—from exploring the scientific principles behind traditional festivals such as the Ghost Festival and the Dragon Boat Festival, to in-depth discussions on practical themes like marine science and food science.

Through group discussions, project presentations, supplemental science news, and film viewings, students will have the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary learning.
The course not only enhances Mandarin communication and expression skills, but also cultivates independent thinking, problem-solving abilities, and scientific literacy.
Students will further explore how science and technology influence and apply to everyday life.
